Malabon heads of senior citizens get honorarium
The 21 presidents of the Federation of Malabon Senior Citizens Association (FEMASCA) recently received a P4,000 honorarium from the local government, which brought smiles to their faces and warmed the hearts of everyone who witnessed the event.
The honorarium is a recognition of the valuable service and contributions that FEMASCA provides to the community. During the monthly meeting held at the Office for Senior Citizens Affairs (OSCA), Mayor Jeannie Sandoval checked on the FEMASCA presidents' welfare and promised to address their needs for a more comfortable life.
Ms. Patricia Agcaoili, OSCA Chairperson, led the gathering, and the FEMASCA presidents expressed their gratitude to the local government and Mayor Jeannie for their unwavering support for the senior citizens of Malabon.
The honorarium is part of the local government's commitment to providing better care and services for the elderly. The local government has always recognized the invaluable contributions of senior citizens and continues to take steps to improve their quality of life.
