In response to the recent jeepney strike, the local government of Malabon has launched its Free Ride program to provide assistance to commuters. As of 3PM, the initiative has successfully transported almost 3,000 passengers to their destinations. The Free Ride program will continue until March 12, 2023, from 5am-5pm to ensure the safety and convenience of Malabon residents.

The Command Center is on standby to respond to commuters who may need assistance or have no means of transportation during the jeepney strike. Residents may send a message to Let's Connect TXTMJS and type the keyword PSTMO or MDRRMO, followed by their message, and send it to 225687 or 09176TXTMJS, or 09176898657.

The local government encourages commuters to take advantage of the Free Ride program and to continue following safety protocols while commuting. Through this initiative, the local government aims to alleviate the inconvenience caused by the ongoing strike and ensure that Malabon residents reach their destinations safely and promptly.
