Malabon conducts surgical, medical and legal mission
Last Saturday, March 11, the Ospital ng Malabon conducted a successful Surgical, Medical, and Legal Mission at the Malabon Sports Complex. Over 450 people from different barangays in Malabon received free medical services such as minor and major surgery, dermatology consultation, breast and cervical cancer screening, legal advice, visual screening, medical check-ups, and pharmacy services.
Mayor Jeannie Sandoval and OsMal Medical Director Dr. Jennifer Amolo Lim expressed their gratitude to all the volunteers and partners who contributed to the success of the program. They also thanked the residents of Malabon for participating in the mission, highlighting the importance of providing accessible and quality healthcare services to every member of the community.
The program was made possible with the help of various organizations and institutions, including the Hospital on Wheels, Jose Reyes Memorial Medical Center (JRRMC), Philippine Cancer Society, Integrated Bar of the Philippines (CalMaNa) Chapter, PolyHealth Diagnostic and Laboratory Inc, Rotary Club of Makati, Rotary Club of Makati Premier, Aberdeen Court, UST-Sigma Tau Delta, and many others.
The Surgical, Medical, and Legal Mission is part of Ospital ng Malabon's commitment to promoting the health and well-being of the people of Malabon. The program aims to address the healthcare needs of underserved communities, providing access to medical services that they would not otherwise have access to.
Through the program, the Ospital ng Malabon hopes to create a more inclusive and equitable healthcare system that benefits every member of the community. The success of the Surgical, Medical, and Legal Mission is a testament to the power of collaboration and community involvement in achieving this goal.
